Will's Field Study Sunday, October 30, 2022 Field Visit 4 on October 30 Field Notes: Time of Visit - 1:30-2:00 Climate Conditions - Partly cloudy, a very light breeze Temperature - 59°F Length of Day - 10 hours, 23 minutes (Sunrise at 8:16 AM, sunset at 6:39 PM) Observations: This week I observed a ton of animal tracks. Both in the sandy area in my plot of land, and in the mud around the pond, there were lots of tracks. I have identified what I think to be deer tracks, dog tracks, and raccoon tracks. I have found these tracks in both places, as you can see in the images below. The raccoon tracks are on the top left and center, the dog track is on the top right. The deer tracks are on the bottom row. Another interesting thing that I observed were leaf markings in the sand. In the sandy area of my plot of land, there are a lot of ferns and leaves, as you can see below on the picture on the left.  Will's Field Study Saturday, October 15, 2022 Field Visit 3 on October 9 Field Notes: Time of Visit - 3:00-3:40 PM Climate Conditions - Partly cloudy with quite a bit of sun, 13 mph winds Temperature - 60°F Length of Day - 11 hours, 21 minutes (sunrise was at 7:50 AM, and the sunset was at 7:11 PM) Observations -  This week, as part of my observations, I decided to create a sound map. A picture of it is right below. I noticed a lot of insects from all around me, especially in the tall grass where the pond normally would be. I heard a tree frog over in a tree near the sandy area (I guessed the general area, and then pinpointed the location after the time was up, and it matched up well). I never realized until know how many sounds you could hear that weren't natural. I heard people talking, footsteps, and a lot of cars, which makes sense, as the trails are right next to M31. I also heard quite a few birds, which I identified as some crows and a hawk (I think). Other observation...
